Hi Mary, I would be so mad if I saw a dog pee on my roses!! That's disgusting!! Some people are so gross and don't have proper dog etiquette! You know!! You just don't let your dog pee any where! That is one of my "pet" peeves!

Some of those snacks, I think you would have to watch the salt content on them don't you? And look for hidden sugars on them. I've read in the jerkies they have sugar so watch out for that.

What sux in my family is both parents have the double chins! The turkey chins!!! Gross!! So I have to do big time exercises on my face. I look like I'm in pain, but I have to do what I have to do!!

Hi Diana,When I did strict 72 version last spring,that was my go to hunger stopper.I used to have turkey lunchmeat but it is hard to find one without added hidden sugars.

Mary we have a hound that hangs out at our house some. He just goes from one house to another mooching! lol He walk thru my garden the other day and step on one of my tomatoe plants and tryed to beat that dog to death. Of course it could out run me. And can't run very far before i almost pee on myself. (I know all you mothers can relate to that) Needless to say that dog walks around my garden now and pretty much stays out of my path. My 5 year old little girl trys to adopt every creature that comes in the yard and she wasnt very happy with me over that.

Kim i'm so glad things are working out for you. My husband and i have had some trouble lately. Its stress too. Over money. You know the fact the we don't have any.

Oh you know what I've had and I have even heard this is the best deli meat. It's the Boarshead brand. They don't have sugars in them and you can get them low-sodium too! They are really good, a littel pricey, but if you're looking for a good turkey, that's the one.

I buy some every once in a while. But the slices are so filling! They slice it for sandwiches, but the meat is substantial, it doesn't take much to get full on them.

And I am with you on the calories thing...I have decided to do Atkins until school is out, then I am going to add in some fruit and keep it at lean meat....we will see how it goes...I know, I know, those last 10 lbs are kickin my ass too!

I just did our taxes. DH went from making over $65000 while working to making $29000 last year on compensation. And he wonders why there's no extra money

Shala - I've been adding back some melons for the last week or so. I have either a cup of canteloupe, honeydew or watermelon. I still lost 2 lbs last week, and am almost down another 2 since Monday (I'm not claiming anything till my weigh-in). I decided to up my carbs a little (20 didn't do anything) and now I'm losing. Hope it continues...170's here I come!

Hi everyone. I am new and I have to admit I have been lurking for a few days but I felt guilty so here I am. I am on day six of induction I am doing Atkins. Didnt wake up with a headache for the first time just a foggy head. Anyone know why that is? But I will take what I can get. I am excited to have found this website. I think this will really help me.

We had more people watching this mans house and movements then he will ever know!! He could not figure out for the life of him how we kept finding out his EVERY move!! hehehe

REVENGE....sometimes its sweeter than any sugar!!!

The name came about by a text message picture and song that went Chicken wing....chicken wing...hot dogs and bologne...chicken and macaroni...chilling with my homies...etc...The picture was of a VERY VERY OBESE NAKED WOMAN....Here we all were eating low carb and dieting to no end, and this picture and song just kinda became our motivation....for ALOT of things!!!

The headache is probably caused by the sugar withdrawal!!! I always get one for the first few days...or after a cheat!!!

It should go away with time!! Its just like an alcoholic coming off of the alcohol!!

Tommie, one of the big men's magazines recently had an article about fake boobs. Apparently while men like to look at them, they prefer natural breasts over fakes and they think the fake boob thing has gotten out of control. The men they spoke with said that when they handle an enhanced breast that they can actually feel the implant and it is a turnoff. Not that it matters but I'm just saying... how's that for a double standard lol...

I can't believe that people let their dogs pee on somebody's rose bushes of all things - I mean it's pretty clear that they are roses for pete's sake and there's a retaining wall right there, and a telephone pole a few steps away!

Oh don't even let me get started with the poop!!! I think if you're walking your dog you should bring a couple of bags with you and pick up your dog's crap!! To change the subject

Kitty was thinking about you a second ago. I initially went out to trim out the shrubs that are in the front garden but they have grown so wild that once I got out there I just decided to trim them down all the way to the ground. Poor babies... I sure hope they come back okay!

Anyway, there are two taller shrubs that have been shaped to grow more tree-like in that same garden - I think they're called ligustrum - and they are in full bloom right now. The whole time I'm out there I can hear this buzzing around my head because there are bees all over those flowers!!

I mean these bees were dive bombing each other trying to get to nectar!!! They must be desperate or something. So, I was like, okay, I won't bother you if you don't bother me!

Thankfully they didn't.

Kim, I know you're not claiming it yet, but another 2 pounds is great!!

No matter what the "diet" says, I really think you have to find what works with your body and maybe not always go "by the book" despite what some hardcore LCers would say. Sometimes this WOE can just be too LC for some people. I gave it a shot, but my body just did not like an extreme low carb WOEing.

Shala, once I was grilling something and it started to rain so I had to go check on the grill a couple times using an umbrella. Well, for a long time afterward anytime that I used that umbrella, it smelled like grilled food!! I mean to the point that other people around me would notice!!
