I am interested in finding a work out buddy too. I have been doing protein power for about 6 weeks and I think it is really easy to follow. Now I just have to get back into workout mode. I did turbo jam today, but I am so bored with it. Have any reccomendations?

Stacey! Not sure what to recommend. I got bored with the treadmill and started looking around the board for something new. I discovered Callanetics and I LOVE it!! I posted the link to that thread in a post above. But it's NOT cardio. If that's what you are looking for, maybe try Tae Bo? Ive heard many on here like it and I remember when I did it years ago, I thought it was a good workout and Billy isnt annoying like some of the other exercise gurus-KWIM? HTH I would love to have another buddy

Thanks Lisa! I actually borrowed my neighbors tae boe last night. She had recomended it also. I am going to read up on this Callanetics. I have been seeing a lot about it on this sight. I am always looking for something different. I agree about the treadmill. I did it the whole time I was pregnant with my son, and to this day I can not get back on Oh well! Keep up the good work!

Eight more? That is great. Isn't it nice to see a light at the end of the tunnel I am still at 129.5, but that is OK I figure it is do to that time of the month, and I am not going to give up. Sad to say, but I am probably going to skip my workout to day. We got a new washer and dryer, and my hubby and I had to move the new ones in and the old ones out. We also had move furniture out of the way and let me tell you I can feel it :P I am beat!
Is it OK to have wine? I kept it in my carb count, but I had a glass of red wine while watching UFC last night. My favorite fighter won last night, so I was celebrating
Anyway have a great night and I look forward to checking in tomorrow!

Stacey. It sounds like you already got quite a workout! I know many here who have wine once in a while , just know that when you drink, your body will burn the alcohol first. I did another hour of Callanetics this AM. I cant wait to hear what you think of it. See ya tomorrow

I just got it today! I think I looked kinda goofy the first time through, but I really liked it. I know I will get better as I go. I wish they had the classes some where in my area, but no such luck. I am so used to jumping around with my other exercize videos, that this was a nice change. Thanks for the reccomendation.

I hope that your back starts feeling better! Let me know how you are doing.

Still in pain-no exercise
Stacey~ I wish we had classes here as well. It would be so nice to have someone to correct my form. The DVD does a very good job showing and describing the exercises but I am not sure I am doing them properly to get the max benefit, KWIM?

That is the truth. I actually brought out my mirror this morning and watched myself. It at least gave me more of an example. Did you say that you did your measurements prior to working out? I didn't. Should I ?

Hey lisa! It is still crummy here, but they say the sun might pop through on Sunday. Here's to hoping it is true I am on the way to the grocery store this morning. I want to be back by nap time, so I have a chance to do Tae boe. I got a new one from the library. I thought this way I could check out and see which Tae Boe is the best for me. Hope you have a great weekend!! If I can pull the hubby away from the computer this weekend I will catch up with you

Let me know what you think of Sandra Brown. I like Nora Roberts. I have read everyone of her books. I really enjoyed her last trilogy and now she has started a new one. The seconnd book of that one comes out next month. Yippee!!

How was your dinner theater?

Dinner theater was great! The show was hilarious and the food was very yummy! I decided to have a piece of frosted brownie and a cosmopolitan, but I got right back on plan the next day. Im not weighing for a few days to be sure any water weight goes away. I hate seeing a rise on the scale
