Hey all. The past week has been good. I still am not weighing myself, but I feel thinner and I think I look thinner. Here's the problem though, I'm leaving for a wedding tomorrow. In Las Vegas. OH NO! HELP! How do I stay OP in Las Vegas? Help!

Wow lbh17...I envy you going to Las Vegas...I don't envy you trying to stay legal while there. You might want to consider the next 2 days going on atkins so you can eat veggies and then go back to Stillmans when the weekend is over...

Got the coffee going for the morning...I just brew Folgers, medium...nothing special!

The college daughter got here with the boyfriend at about 10 or so...stayed up and talked until 11:30 and I am sure they will both sleep in. His interview for the job went well and they want him back next Friday for another interview with a head honcho...so it is looking good for him!

I plan to have tuna/hb egg mixed with mustard for breakfast.
Grilled hamburger for lunch.
Probably a grilled hamburger for suppper too!

I need to get a list together so I can go grocery shopping tomorrow. I can't believe the price of eggs here...$2.35 for a dozen large eggs.

Hope everyone has a great Saturday!!

lbh17 - wow vegas yes love it there...it wont be hard there to stay on plan hon they have alot of food there and many buffets so u can do meet and veggies very easy , dont think u will have a problem at all , I wish i could not weigh but im ok with the fact i cant now cuz it keeps me pushing to get the scale move even tho i get moody im trying to lookin at it as knowin what i weigh is part of the solution good or bad. i had cycled into atkins yesturday but to be honest i felt like i was cheating isnt that crazy! hehehe I think im gonna go back to stillmans today and try eating just one kinda meet each day in stead of different kinds and see how that works for me i read somewhere that some have better results that way , does any one know that to be true ? Slatman i seen a thread u said to have a refeed meal im not sure if i understand that do i stay 10 days on then have 1 meal with carbs and if so what kinda carbs? also cskies u said brocolli ill try that next time i had cottage cheese and celery sticks with cream cheese yesturday that was my atkins day with a small bowl of strawberries i dint lose this am but i didnt gain , but i felt like i was cheating big time. Another thing is my appetite has really shrunk on this way of eating , im using a small saucer to eat on and my portions are a 3rd of what i used to eat its incredible. way to go everyone for ur losses and u all are so awesome !
Cskies, slatman u seam to know how to work it to ur advantage and id like to figure that out too so any help would be appreciated. Diana then cheese cakes sound so good , how do u fight the urge to eat some - that would be hard for me i think .

another question do u think if i had 3 days of just fish then 3 days of chicken switching back n forth id have a better advantage - i stay away from the cottage cheese when im on stillmans cuz i cant do the low fat one the regular np but lowfat cottage cheese i cant get down makes me gag so was wondering if staying with fish would be better ?
trying to get a game plan together for the next 10 days

It'll be cheaper to buy your own hens pretty soon!

I'm copying your menu today because I was a bad girl last night! I cheated on Stillman's with Atkins! I had to eat carrots and celery and snacked on pumpkin seeds!

magickal...would you enjoy 3 days of fish--3 days of chicken? If you think so then try it...I don't do the cottage cheese either but I don't mind it. I eat alot of beef because that is what I have alot of. If I am watching things closely I eat mostly hard boiled eggs and chicken...that moves the scale the fastest for me. Again I don't do fish but have thought about getting some for a change...what kind of fish do you eat? I do tuna but I don't really consider that a fish...lol

Lora...that is the funny thing about doing stillman's because when you switch to atkins you think you are cheating...gotta love the way that works!!

I use a smaller plate with stillman's too....and I wonder how I ever got all that food I used to eat down the hatch!! Scary!!

When I do eat cottage cheese it is usually low fat...or what ever I happen to pick up without looking at it right!! Sometimes I wonder why I didn't look closer at what I am putting in my cart because more than once I have picked up the wrong stuff. I don't vary my shopping much nor do I try out alot of newer products...meat and fresh veggies are what are on my list mostly...I shop at Aldi's first and then hit a super walmart for what I can't find at Aldi's...I get my beef from my dad or my son...they take a calf to the meat packing plant and have it butchered and processed there 2 times a year. I don't do alot of pork though or would probably buy it from the butcher there too.

Good afternoon everyone!!

Cskies~hope you enjoy the visit from your daughter and boyfriend (or is it fiance'?). I have two sons (7 & 5), it blows my mind to think one day I may say they're coming home from college. Time goes so fast!!

lbh17~Congrats on the weightloss, although you don't know how much, the clothes are the best indicator of weightloss!!

Magickal~Congrats on the appetite reduction I felt the same re:cheating on Stillmans with Atkins But at least it's a "good" cheat!! For me, I tend to lose best eating chicken and seafood. Beef tends to stall me..although I love it.

Mary~Please don't be a stranger..whatever plan you use..we all are trying to achieve the same goal..weightloss and healthier diet. Support is the main reason we ultimately come together

Red~ congrats on the weightloss!!

Diana~yumm..cheesecake..one of my weaknesses Hope you have much success with your yard sale.

Hi to all others..Mavis, Slackman, Lora,Spenckey, Onefitgal, Debi..if I forgot anyone..please blame my head, not my heart.

Have a good day!!

Breakstone's cottage cheese is what I'd usually buy no matter if it was low fat or not! I love the taste!

I noticed with the Non Fat Greek Yogurt it has more protein than full fat.

Hi Ladies and Slatman!!

Glad to see everyone is doing good!! What a great day it is outside in my neck of the woods!

We did good on the yard sale, made some decent cash but didn't sell everything.

I made those cheesecakes, but they are not that thick, there kind of puny looking. That's okay, less carbs. I did also use liquid splenda to help with that too.
Not too bad tasting though. I kind of did my own thing, sort of!

I love cheesecake too! My weak, indulgent dessert!! Love it!!!

Well, I'm off to take a nap, or maybe drink some coffee! Sleep sounds better!

Talk to you soon!!
Love ya Ladies and Slatman!!

Hello everyone...
Today is day 6 for me and I am down another pound making it 9 pounds lost so far.
I haven't really had a hard time sticking to it at all. I have been drinking around 100 oz of water a day and sometimes a little diet pepsi after my water drank. So far so good...
