Wow, finished 2 days of this challenge and lost some water weight!
Gee, my size 4's are loose. ![]() ![]() 3rd day menu: B: One HB Egg, 8oz. Protein Shake w/cinnamon, cup of black coffee, (green tea) S: Same as breakfast L: 6oz. Chunk Light Tuna w/One HB mixed with Mustard and Mrs. Dash S: 6oz. Chobani - NONFAT Greek Yogurt (Plain) D: 2 Hamburger Patties or maybe one (they look thick!) with mustard and low-carb ketchup, green tea S: IF still hungry, 8oz. protein shake (I haven't been hungry after dinner the last couple of days.) ![]() I have to mention since I'm on my own in the weight training department I am starting today like a good student! ![]()

Morning All.
Stayed on plan yesterday and up .5 pounds!! ![]() I do have that bad breath everyone talks about. ![]() Well off to the gym. My daughter's 18th birthday and she wants Lumpia. They are such a pain to make but so yummy!! None for me but a day of cooking!! B- coffee two liters of water before I get home from the gym l-hb egg with mustard and 2 slices of turkey bacon d-two scamble eggs with benefiber more water tru out the day!! cskies- glad you are feeling better. I find a knee brace to help a bit. Hope everyone has a WONDERful day..... ![]()

No loss and i think tom is over dont get why i didnt drop , maybe my body is trying to catch up not sure....anyways im still on plan maybe i need to add some veggies in for 2 days and then try stillmans again so plan for today is to have lean meat and some green veggies. cskies-i hope ur knees gets better fast. |

I don't get the scale either...glad no one was around when I weighed this morning...I would have had to Bleep some of the words!! ![]() I am choosing to wait until Sunday to weigh again and it better be alot better!! and onefitgal...what is a lumpia?? wow your daughter is 18!! Is that the one that doesn't want to move with you?? diana...what are you up to today?? jessie...you are so lucky to get to go on vacation....!! the last vacation I went on was about 9 years ago...I took my kids to The Mall of America over the Christmas Holidays...lol!! Good morning..just got around to reading the posts from last night..you all are too funny!!
![]() I agree on the scale thing..I'm up another pound. I've been fluctuating the same 2-3 lbs and now TOM is over. It's sooo frustrating when the numbers don't move or go up..yet sooo rewarding when you see that lost you've been praying for. I'm always torn whether to weigh or not weigh. When I don't weigh..I seem to gain weight due not knowing the affect of what I'm eating. When I do weigh, it can get frustrating to eat and exercise but not see a loss. I think I'm going to try to do Atkins for two days instead of one (which is what I did this week) to see if that'll shift things up a bit.Congratulations to the losers..and those like myself..let's continue stick to plan (LC). ![]() |

Good Friday Morning to Everyone!
Everyone is doing so great!!! That's awesome!!! Glad to see others are down some lbs and their clothes are loose!!!! I love that!! ![]() It's funny, even though I've doing Atkins induction, I keep doing more Stillmans that Atkins! I just can't get away from that! I need to rethink what I'm doing though. I know I have to desperately cut back on my coffee with cream. That is not helping me one bit. And no stress eating! Two days out of the week, I reached for mixed nuts to munch on and I know that sodium is putting water weight on me. I do drink water, but during those times I need to drink even more. So I'm still here going on and eating the right foods!! I'm so galdurn close to onederland it's crazy!!!! So I think after this week, I'm going to go back on Stillmans and just do the cycling . Magickal, you're doing great! Yep, I missed those veggies too! I had some all last week, but I know I find myself tapering off of them for no reason. Must be on Stillmans mentally! Cskies, how is your knee doing? I hope it's starting to feel better! And Whoohoo on the grocery store story!! Wowzers!!! If you weren't attracting some attention, then I don't know what!! Debi, don't worry, you're weight will go down more. I know it sometimes discouraging when your expectations are high, but you're doing so well and you will continue to lose!!! It will happen!! ![]() Onefit, no problem, you'll see that 1/2 lb go down. You're doing really great!! Keep up the good work!!! I like lumpia and you know what, there is a low carb tortilla type bread that is circulating around here that can be used for your lumpia if you want a low carb one. I know one person who makes egg rolls with them and she absolutely loves them!! If you want it I'll post it here. Technokitty has that one! You're there I'm sure she'll tell you about it. Lora, Congrats on the lbs down and loose pants! Isn't that great feeling!! I think having our clothes fit loose on us is the best detection that this woe is working for us. I know the scales don't show it sometimes, but I love when our clothes do. to you!!!

Wow Lora...I totally agree with your trainer about a lack of women that specialize in the weight training area....I don't have a gym close by but if I did I would be interested in having someone help me in that area!! Good Luck with that!! You will do great!!

Antigone...I don't know if you take supplements or not but I think it was Mary that said magnesium is a good thing to take to get things moving?? maybe she will pop in and enlighten us again?!!

Godd Morning everyone,
Well I started my low cal diet yesterday and this morning I was at an all time low of 137. I am so excited. I ate 1000 cals yesterday of healthy food and I did run 2.5 miles. I did not eat anything after 4:00, I think that helped and I am going to try this again today. I did not go to the gym this morning...I hit snooze over and over again and then I just turned the alarm off....so I am going to try and run outside this evening..if this annoying rain stops. Sounds like everyone is doing great. I would love to be 135 before we leave in one week. I think I can do it...if I keep up the running and stick to 1000 cals. well talk to you soon. Jessie |

Well... day 5 for me... down another pound...8 pounds total... I am going to try to not weigh in everyday...TRY being the keyword. I don't want the scale to determine how I feel emotionally. Physically I feel so much better already. I still have a lot of weight to lose (around 100 lbs) but it is so great not having that stuffed, bloated feeling all the time. I don't understand why since I know I feel better when I eat better why do I still let myself fall off the wagon sometimes and go back to feeling crappy. I even feel like I am in a better frame of mind when I am low carbing... I guess the mind is just as much of a battle as the weight is!
I am still curious to know about how many calories those of you doing strickly stillmans eat a day I am glad to be back here for the support and motivation. Thank you everyone!!! Good job everyone and keep up the good work!!!

KSS...to tell the truth I have never calculated the calories from Stillman's. I just eat the meat/protein and since I am not hungry I haven't thought about. Hope someone else can help you with your question...were you the one that said they calculated about 700 calories yesterday...I need to go back and read...doesn't sound like enough calories though?!!

antigone. I take a ma/calc supplement and will drink smooth move when terribly backed up. This has done the trick for me. I get terribly backed up. I would also try milk of mag tablet or the liquid if you can stand the texture.
I am holding off weighing until next week, plus I will be out of town on a foreigh scale. I weighed 169 yesterday, and that seems to be the point I always get stuck, so to move on to somewhat virgin fat, I am going to keep strong and remain extra strong. good luck everyone. Im visitng a friend this weekend with her own weight issues so I have say hey all I want is tuna she will totally get it. Meeting with a new employer, I was not so strong.
My hardest time is being social with friends and dating, I have started ordering drinks, but spilling them when no one is looking I enjoy being out, but it was so weird for friends and family not to see me with a libation in my hand and they would not stop ordering me drinks no matter how many times I refused, so now I just say thanks.
