Valerie, I took the bags to a donation place this morning before reading your post! I will keep you in mind when I have more clothes to give away next time.
I went to Old Navy today... I haven't been in an Old Navy store in a really long time because they took out their plus-size department and made plus-sizes online only. Their regular women's department has sizes up to an XXL. The XXL is smaller than a plus-size 1X. It might be about the same as a 1X but I know it's smaller than a plus-size 2X. I was able to fit into the XXL tops and bought 5 shirts. That was fun. Tomorrow is my one-year weight loss anniversary. I think I need to take a progress picture. I am on Spring Break so I plan to drive to visit my sisters for a few days. I hope I get a chance to take a pic tomorrow morning before I leave.

Hi-
Thanks to everyone on the support and encouragement! **hugs** You all are too kind and sweet. Thanks soooooo much! I am glad for the 14 pounds shed but a bit disappointed at not getting out of the 290's like I had hoped. I'll just see if I can do better in April. Zer, you crack me up but I really am planning to go to Italy in June and I hope, like Lola said, I'm under 260. That would be awesome and very sweet (and Cris, thanks for the offer *hug*). I even have a couple of new things to wear if I can lose a bit more weight (and I may have to buy new undies for then too but for some reason, my undies fit just fine even after losing 60 pounds! *grumble*) Amm-congrats on getting into the Old Navy clothes and have fun visiting your sis! Valerie-hope you hit your goal but if not, you've done fabulous! Cleo-what happened at TOPS? and did that scale agree with your home one? I have some various appointments this week-dentist, eye doc, diabetes doc and am scared what the bills will be but I need to go so I'll just bite the bullet and go. No job news but I sure hope something good comes along soon! Have a great evening everyone! --Laura |

Hi everyone! you are all doing so great, but i wish i had some advice for the sex thing, but i figure id add in a little info.. Maybe try more foreplay, as the womans "love canal" elongates the more turned on she is . i dont know if that will help. i dont know too much about menopause.
As for me, y weight kept creeping back, even though i was on plan. hubby says ts because i dont poop. i went off plan on the weekend thinking something would move, nothing. i emptied the whole 90 tablet bottle of fiber. i am seriously at a loss. the fiber worked for the first two days, then water worked( very little) two calendar days. after that, nothing. im starting to think something is wrong, and the doctor is out of the question, as i have no insurance. i bought laxatives and i know everyone will have a fit about it but honestly whats worse? not going ot going 2x a week with a laxative? my body isnt moving NOW so i guess i have nothing to lose. i am so discouraged and im back up to like 318. no matter what i just cant stop thinking about the food( health or not) going in and NOTHING going out. So, thats whats going on with me... im so tired of talking about it. im just.. ugh

Have you tried eating flax for some "movement?"
That, and some strong coffee, both work for me... As far as the sex thing...I wouldn't know - I have three kids, remember? No time, and when there is time TOO TIRED!!! lol |

Hey DIYnina, maybe total low carb just isn't for you. I recommend the F-Factor Diet with book of the same name.
Unless something else is going on, I think eating at least 30 grams of fiber a day as she recommends will get things moving. In the meantime, have you tried prune juice??? And if that doesn't work maybe one of those OTC enemas. But if things don't improve soon, I think you should definitely seek out medical care. You don't want a potential problem to get worse than it is. Even if it means going to whatever hospital/clinic in your area deals with the uninsured. Also, this F-Factor diet is glycemically balanced so if you have insulin resistance issues (the reason lots of people turn to low carb), this type of diet should work for you wonderfully.
