well, honestly, I am not sure of anything right now as I don't have the book yet. I've just been gleaning info off the internet and blogs. I don't even know what comes next after Induction!

I was thinking of staying on Induction for a month or two. Is that OK to do?
How long did you stay on Induction and how much weight did you lose?

I really want to lose as much weight as possible for my 45th bday on May 30 and my Hawaii trip on June 6. I have never done anything like this before so I am a little clueless! But it would be great to be able to eat blackberries; strawberries; blueberries and raspberries AND still lose weight!

I'm an Exec Assistant & Events Coordinator for one of the top 4 officers (global conservation strategy) of The Nature Conservancy! I've been there 6 years this month. (Including 18 months medical leave 2005/2006). For the 5 years prior, I was a Meetings & Events Specialist for an asset mgmt firm and also a Travel Consultant for 10 years.

What Company do you work for? Yeah, new jobs are tough. Dontcha just hate having to prove yourself all over again! Don't they just know implicitly that we are superstars! Do you have a huge staff to manage?

Oh, btw - I did not receive an email from you. Not sure if you had time to send yet, but wanted to let you know because my email was down for a couple of days while hubby upgraded me to Outlook 2007 ~ yippee!

QUESTION: the organic heavy whipping cream I use states Zero Carbs - so I don't have to worry about counting any hidden carbs for a splash in my coffee, right? Yes, this feels so strange to eat full-fat instead of nonfat or lowfat! It's really hard to feel OK about it!

Oh and yesterday I learned about Carbs in Fresh Lemon Juice! Wanted to avoid making a No-Bake Cheesecake w/ SF Jell-O (ugh) so I used non-flavored gelatin; fresh lemon juice & stevia - not bad for a noncook!

OK, here's my menu for today and yesterday:

Today - my stomach has been cramping big time today...ugh.
B: decaf coffee w/ SF french vanilla syrup & heavy cream + Atkins bar
L: 1 uncured nitrite/nitrate-free all-beef frank + 1 slice american cheese
S: decaf coffee w/ SF french vanilla syrup & heavy cream
D: 3 scrambled eggs: bacon bits and 1 slice american cheese
8 Net Carbs

Yesterday - we (me/hubby) ate good and OP!
B: decaf coffee w/ SF french vanilla syrup & heavy cream
B: 1/4 Mexican Quiche
L: 3 Tuna Muffins w/ 1 Tbsp chipotle mayo
S: 1/8 No Bake Lemon Cheesecake
D: Parmesan Tilapia
D: Mashed Cauliflower
D: Lettuce & Tomato Salad + Newman's Own Light Italian Dressing
S: couple bites No Bake Lemon Cheesecake
21 Net Carbs

Water; Water; Water and More Water! And Water! Did I mention Water? Water! Oh yeah, and Water! And then a little more Water!
