30 grams of carbs/day - resulting too much protein/fat

Any help with this? Am limiting myself to 30 grams carbs per day but to keep from being hungry and weak am ending up eating too many calories of fat (turning to cheese for example) or way too much protein. So am having difficulty balancing low carbs, limiting calories and not over doing it on the protein. Laura Richard's book The Secret to Low Carb Success says too much protein can lead to weight gain. Too much fat equals too many calories and can also lead to weight gain. Am having trouble losing weight.

What does a typical menu look like? "Too much" is a subjective term. Easier to reply to a specific quantity. Most of my fats now are VCO and olive oil, as I find cheese too more-ish to use more than once or twice a week (if that) in condiment portions. Butter too got a bit out of hand. So, now I use VCO, OO. I'm not a carnivore, so I am using mostly fish and egg as my protein, with a jolt of WPP to kickstart me with 40g protein. Really fuels me up, my hot slosh!

What is your menu like? If you are looking at your fitday graph, it's going to have alot of fat. Fat doesn't make you fat. Are you doing Protein Power? Please post a menu so we can see.

If you are doing PP, are you hitting your protein minimums? If you try to follow multiple ideas in multiple books, you will make yourself crazy. Pick one and follow it, simple as that!

VCO=Virgin Coconut Oil

EVCO=Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

Some folks use this inside and outside, noticing improvement as they do so.
