I just thought of another one that always makes me cry. No greater love (I think that's the title). It goes there's no greater love says the Lord than to lay down your life for a friend, no greater love, etc.

Oh I know that song, it's called "A Better Way" by a group called, downhere.

I love that song too! I feel the same way about it!

I'm in the choir at church, and I always like it when we do, "Religion is a Fortune". My favorite part is when the lowest bass sings out, "Where ya been backslider, where ya been so loooong!"

Last week we sang, "Were You There (When They Crucified My Lord)?", which has stuck in my head all week. Here's a video of another (better) choir doing it. There are a number of vids of this song on Youtube, but this is the only one I found in the context of a worship service.

My favorite gospel music is Southern Gospel, especially Quartets. My favs are Gold City, Ernie Haas and Signature Sound, The Perry's, Dove Brothers, Greater Vision, Mc Kaney's, The Issacs, The Hoppers, well you get my drift!

My favorite songs are Midnight Cry, Oh What a Savior, I'm Not Giving Up, God on the Mountain, gosh I could go on and on.

My (step) daughter passed away at almost the same time this song was released on the radio. It wasn't like it was instant healing and a bit bolt of lightning but after that and every time I have heard it since I am comforted. The timing of its release could not have been more prefect and I will go to my grave believing it was no coincidence.
