Now there's an idea! A sock drive for Heidi!

She could give them names, dress them up in kimmerwear and then use all the Capt'n empties as stands to put them on and have her own little kimpire of "friends" to help her out around the kimpound.

Havenlore is fantasy role playing - actually quite popular with a certain mindset of people. In and of itsdelf, nothing nefarious there.

She went to school and majored in music - opera, maybe? Anyway, the story goes that she got really sick a couple years ago and gained all her weight. I seem to recall her saying that she was just starting to audition again, but not sure about that part.

anyway, I have no problem believing it is her singing on the site. I saw that awhile back - was thinking it had been talked about here, but maybe not.

it's been three weeks to the day since your infamous "Flat Iron Steak" post.

I guess "Gary" must have been reading your blog and/or our posts here where we pointed out to him that he has been taking credit and not giving where due because look what just popped up re:Flat Iron Steaks thread

also this week he finally started listing sources when he posts his inspirational messages

Just had a devilish thought. Wouldn't it be funny if everyone sent a single, spare sock to the Kimmer? We'd certainly never know her reaction but it would make me smile everytime I open my mailbox to think she's opening hers to ANOTHER sock!

Isn't that the truth!?! You never know with Heidi whether it's a tiny little lie or a huge whopping one. What a piece of work! I blogged today about the anger we feel from betrayal. It's almost a "you had to be there" kind of thing, isn't it?

Yeah - between husband and kids - I bet I've got close to 100 "single" socks. Those things drive me crazy. I'm always trying to make them match, somehow!

We could use a sharpie and write names on them (and faces) to help Heidi out with new screen names. Oh, I'd love to be a fly on her mailbox when she opened them!

How ironic for you to say that today. My DH was really shocked at my last blog post. He said that he had NEVER in 20 years of marriage heard me talk so mean to anyone. He also felt like I was being cruel when I said she was a bad mom.
Maybe I was. Maybe I went too far. Maybe I went to her level. I just am so over Heidi SEEMING to do and say what she wants and people ( just like me) Turning a deaf ear. I did it...and I know they are doing it.
I have a new Goal for myself that involves this...I think I will blog about that next.

DH notwithstanding, I SEE NOTHING, nada, zip wrong with pointing out the truth about Heidi. Anyone that would use their own sons' names to do illicit business without their permission (not to mention her dead mother) - what could you possibly say about someone like that and be TOO mean about it?

Your motivation is to help people see the light, not just tear down someone who treated you badly. I'm sure your DH is a great guy, but IMHO, he's WAY off on this one!

Barb, don't go. Many of us don't (or didn't) know what is happening on the blogs, but for sure, the only person benefited by internal squabbling is Heidi. These periodic episodes of pettiness and finger-pointing often follow long stretches w/o real news. (To a hammer, everything looks like a nail). We miss the adrenaline rush of finding significant new clues, the camaraderie born of being alongside the Ducks, united in a common worthy goal.
I don't take sides, because I don't know or care in some cases, what is the truth. And many times I've been glad I didn't, as the participants eventually worked their way through their differences.
But we can't ban you in any case. Only the admins can do that, and that mainly after several warnings. So you're stuck with us. But maybe you should surface, take a few deep breaths, and realize you have a real life waiting for you when this subject has lost its fascination. Others have done so and only visit occasionally. I read here less and less, as Real Life, spring, and other demands make themselves heard. But Barb, no one can deny that you've done your share of weed pulling and encouragement. I appreciate you!

The 16 year old (6'1" baseball/football player) just came through the kitchen while I was making it and spotted it. Between him and his dad I'll be lucky if I even get some bits and pieces off the plate. They may let me have some of the loaded broccoli and caesar salad.
