Friday Weekly Maintenance Weigh-In - Page 6

If there's such a thing as a "maintenance whoosh," I had one last night! From 118.4 yesterday to 116.4 (lowest ever) today. Interesting timing, as today is the de facto beginning of my spring break, and I was finally able to "let down" last night after several weeks of intense stress.

I'm actually really proud of maintaining the 118 during a week where I was feeling notably sleep-deprived, not able to work out as much as usual, and eating out at restaurants every night (due to the fact that we were conducting campus interviews of several job candidates back-to-back). Looking forward to getting back on track with a more health-centered lifestyle, though!

Wow, I'm down *another* pound this morning -- now 115.4, by far my lowest weight. I looked closely at my menu for the past two days and don't notice anything particularly different than usual. I'm going to assume it indicates a strong stress-release/weight loss connection, though if it keeps going down I'm actually going to get a bit concerned. Meanwhile I may plan having a treat at some point this week

I'm wondering if the arrival of spring is helping with weight loss -- what do you all think? It occurred to me after I posted on Friday that my "whoosh" came a day or so after the first real warming turn in the weather here.

Back to 121.5, but no complaints. The .5 seems to keep coming and going.

Not too bad though. I have quit my walks and ride my exercise bike now for about an hour most days. Sunday being my day off.

I am in Australia with my daughter at prsent and maintianing okay. Her scales are in kilos and weigh me in way over my UK ones. I am using them anyway as a way of checking that I am not gaining. And I am not!

Weight 122 this moring. I have been eating too many beans lately. It is a bean salad called Jean's Beans, lima, baby butter, kidney and some pork and beans, bacon with a vinegar, splenda mix over them. Oh and a little real brown sugar too.

116.0, a pound down from last week. But I've had a really bad cold, and while my appetite hasn't been particularly diminished, my sense of taste has.

I longed for some ice cream last night for my sore throat but when I read the carb counts for even very modest portions I just couldn't do it.

Congrats on that low weight Prairie. Is that your lowest?
Too bad you didn't have a sugar free popsicle around for that sore throat. Try to gargle with some warm salt water, 3 x a day. An old fashioned remedy that really works.

I was at 132 this morning, on the low side. I'm not surprised as yesterday a skirt
I ordered from Macys came, size 8, and it was too big! So Im ordering the 6
