I made this tonight..nommie..I doubled the crust recipe and put it on a jelly roll pan.
I think next time I will heat the sauce in a small sauce pan before I put it on top of the
crust. We used raw green peppers, raw mushrooms, and small Canadian bacon slices..
It was nommie

ok i finally got round to making this for dinner tonight and despit my misgivings u defeinitely cant taste the cauli and hubby had no idea what the crust was... now to try it on little un tomorrow hehe .. now if he cant guess it will be a miracle cos like all kids he can spot a veggie con a mile away lol

have to say grating the cauli was a pain but might try it in the magic bullet next time.. i made my own alfredo with s/free ketchup, tomato and garlic puree and herbs

cleo how the hell yr mind works to think that cauli would make a pizza crust i will never know!!!

I made Cleo's Cauliflower Pizza and it was quite good.

I was surprised really how well it tasted. Now, I do love cauliflower and it is a very low carb veggie!! So, If you are craving pizza, I say go for it. It will keep you from grabbing the bad stuff! IMO... Only bad thing was, I ate the whole thing by myself!!

Mine was a little mushy in the middle, and I think it was just a little thick there. Going to work on my spreading technique!! Oh, and I cooked my cauli like Cleo said but used my mini processor. It still worked!! If it seems wet, drain it on some paper towels. It will be mushy if you don't. But it was still goooooodd!!!

Thanks for this idea Cleo!

Have another one in the oven, this time it's a double batch. Used a pan just like the one in the picture above this post.

I made this again last night. My hubby is wanting me to make him a supreme version. I've never really liked supreme pizza too much but he loves everything on it... So I guess the next time I make it I'll have to make him one.

It was awesome still. Actually had leftovers this time. lol had a couple slices for breakfast and probably a couple for lunch.

Thanks! I was surprised that he requested it for his birthday lunch because for the last 35 years he has always asked for spaghetti and meatballs on his birthday! I had made the pizza last week for the first time and not only did he want it today but he also took several pieces to work for his meal tonight! He usually takes a pb&j tortilla rollup!

AND... you're getting some more veggies in him which with my husband, I have to do the "Jessica Seinfeld sneak" - sadly couldn't do it with the cauliflower crust. But that's okay... more for me!!!

Thankfully my DH will eat anything I make and loves most of it! But DS that lives with us (age 30) hates most veggies and I have to sneak some in for him. I had him try the pizza last time I made it and he ate the whole piece and said it was ok. At least he didn't say yuck! And I think he'd eat it again if I leave off the olives and onions, too! He likes pepperoni and cheese and that's all!

My husband isn't much of an olive fan! Anything I put olives on is mine. LOL

My kids all prefer just cheese and pepperoni.

You are lucky. My husband will not knowingly touch most veggies with a 10 foot pole, and I can't get him to take vitamins regularly either, which makes it really hard to keep him nutritionally balanced. He's a solid meat & starch kinda guy. Won't even consider doing LC with me.

lol, Cleo it is the opposite in my house. I cannot STAND olives and my DH and my soon to be 2 year old LOVE them. I can't even stand the smell of them! BUt they are such a healthy snack. I wish I did like them but E-GADS I cannot even THINK of actually eating one!

Mary, my BIL is like that and I used to sneak veggies in all sorts of ways and he never knew. I'll have to give you some Mission Impossible Veggie training <picture me in black ninja type outfit with a veggie in one hand and a food processor in the other> HAHAHA!

Oh, Tecnokitty that sounds like a grand idea! Start a new thread about the great ways to sneak veggies in on people! Heck, a bunch of us are probably trying to sneak veggies in on ourselves... hehehe the "doh!" one reminds me of that "coulda had a V8" commercial
