This will pass. It takes time.
Somewhere on one of these threads or in someones blog there was a mention of the "stages" one goes through after getting banned.

You feel this way because you did pour your heart and soul into being there for others. When you cry or scream or just feel like you want to explode, just let it out, and remember it is all natural, and many of us here have been through it. Somewhere along the way, don't be surprised to feel anger and rage - even if you're not typically an angry person.

I could be wrong, but my guess is that you are probably still in the shock and disbelief mode.

I know I couldn't believe it when it happened to me. I kept going to try to log in, checking the front page, thinking maybe I could get back in there just one more time.

I don't even bother to check the front page now unless the picture has changed, or there is something to research. This took well over 2 months. And that was without the added stresses you are facing. So you just take your time.

Sending prayers for Phillip and YOU.

Maybe you should look into other parts of LCF, not this thread dedicated to taking down a toxic personality who gives low carb a bad name. There is an immense number of Friends who have never entered the Fascination thread, or who have run shrieking back to "safer" parts of LCF. Many here have become fast friends from having a common goal here and posting frequently. As much as one can know someone by what they say and do, we here who've been in FWK since close to the beginning can say we know one another. The only reason to post a caveat is that many who thought they knew Kimmer were wrong - they knew a fictitious personality that had been developed over years. So we're saying take us all with a pound or two of salt, but know that the majority of us are harmless to your mental and physical health. And we're willing to be friends and jokesters in between serious stuff. Welcome, and you can read w/o posting if you want to, but you'll get to know us faster by posting.

WAYYYYY OT HERE

Evening everyone just needed to jump in here and post about another one of my causes....

Mental Health Parity

What is that you ask....

Health insurance plans, from private individual and group coverage to the Medicare program, have long imposed barriers that limit access to needed behavioral health care for both mental and substance-use disorders, with far-reaching and often tragic results. No comparable barriers limit access to needed care for other illnesses. That such blatant discrimination continues to flourish -- more than a decade after enactment of the Americans with Disabilities Act, some forty years after the adoption of the first modern civil rights’ laws, and nearly a century since this organization’s establishment as a movement based on principles of social justice -- attests to the deep-rootedness of the stigma surrounding behavioral health disorders. But that such ongoing arbitrary discrimination is countenanced by federal law is nothing short of shameful.

Congress is coming close to finally making it where insurance companies MUST cover mental health as they do other illnesses.

The Parity Bill was passed by the senate last year. The house will hold their vote next week.

Won't you lend your own voice to this fight.

Check out my blog--there is contact info there---even info on how to find out who your representative is...

Many people are unable to obtain the proper treatment for their mental illness due to the restrictions most insurance companies place on benefits.

Typical restrictions require higher copays, limits on therapy visits, lifetime coverage limits plus many more. It is time to stop this discrimination.

Thanks for listening.....

I noticed something on the front page at KK's. Look at Kimmer compared to SL. If I looked at it right, Heidi supposedly weighs 65 pounds more than SL. Wow! Doesn't she carry her weight well? She looks a lot smaller than SL. Another one of those things that make you go "Hmmmmmmm."

Kiki - I never felt like I fit in at KK either. But I do feel that way here. Sometimes this thing moves very fast, and you might feel a little bit lost, but people here are kind and generous and fun too.

Anyone who might have told you that we are mean to people here isn't telling you how it really is. If someone comes in here to stir up trouble, well we don't back down from a fight. Unfortunately some of our best troll smack downs have been deleted, but we have had some good ones. People who come in here to tell their story or ask questions or just want to have a little fun are always welcomed whole heartedly, whether you did kimkins or not.

I got this:

To exhibit affection or attempt to please, as a dog does by wagging its tail, whining, or cringing.

To seek favor or attention by flattery and obsequious behavior.

apple-polish, bootlick, kowtow, slaver, toady, truckle

These verbs mean to curry favor by behaving obsequiously and submissively: fawned on her superior; students apple-polishing the teacher; bootlicked to get a promotion; lawyers kowtowing to a judge; slavered over his rich uncle; toadying to members of the club; nobles truckling to the king.
If you really want to have yourself some fun....google "agentlefawn" and I believe you might be real surprised to see what comes up.

It explains a lot.

It is important that I clear afew things up ..before I move forward.
Today seems to be a rough day. My feelings seem hurt, I feel judged and I miss Kimkins. I know it seems crazy. I miss it. I told someone this morning I did not miss it all..This afternoon I fee panicked. I feel sad , tears and empty.
NO NO NO NO
I will never go back.
If I acted cocky on my blog..I think that was my way of covering up my hurt. I did not know I would feel this way. I was okay and thought settled that I was banned. Wonder why today is so hard.

Once again..if some of you would pray for Philip. Things are tough right now.
I will be praying for Philip. And you. I'm sorry it's been a bad day. Lots of hugs to you.

As for Prudentia and Medusa, we have a lot in common. That's why I hang back so much in this thread. The scars get lighter and fade over time but never really leave us do they? KUTGW and the good fight.

Do you think the feeling of not fitting in could be caused by talking to many/some sockpuppets? I can see how it might be difficult to "bond" with fictional characters.

And TerryC, I quoted you to ask this question, but it is really directed to any ex-kimkinite that felt this way. It actually makes me sick to think that I may have had conversations with non-existent people. I didn't post much on kimkins, but when reading journals there I often felt a lack of personality of the poster.

Thank you for confirming that I am not a nut. I posted something one day about a new product I'd found and a "new Admin" asked me something about it. She said she had a husband and kids..yadda yadda. The next day she was posting on another thread about her boyfriend! She was gone ask quickly as she showed up. I assume she was discussed over here. I think that was the begining of the end for me.

Mariasol - I didn't post too much either. Thank goodness the people I did contact and the ones that I read their journals, were real people. I did read all of those "success" stories, and because your question brought up old memories, I realize now that I KNEW in the back of my mind that most of them could not be real. I guess when you're honest, you just take things at face value because who would have ever believed what was going on there until the truth really came out?
